CHI’s president and CEO, Michele Lueck, was honored at the Denver Business Journal’s 2012 Power Book lunch today as one of the top 10 newsmakers in the health care category.
Michele was in great company. The other nine 2012 top newsmakers were: Colorado Senator Irene Aguilar; Bain Farris, president and CEO of Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver; Patty Fontneau, executive director of the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange; Dr. Patricia Gabow, recently retired CEO of Denver Health; Donna Lynne, president of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado; Don Mares, president and CEO of Mental Health America of Colorado; Steven Summer, president and CEO, Colorado Hospital Association; Kent Thiry, chairman and CEO of DaVita and Kenneth Weiner, CEO of Eating Recovery Center.
The Business Journal selected DaVita’s Thiry as the category’s 2012 winner.
