CHI, with support from the Colorado Division of Insurance and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, conducted a multiyear, two-part research project that engaged a variety of stakeholders, including the property and casualty insurance industry, state and local government, wildfire mitigation organizations, and people impacted by recent wildfires.
The resulting reports will help policymakers, local and state agencies, and residents to better prepare for and respond to climate-change driven disasters.
- In Part 1: Risk Analysis, CHI explores the intersection of wildfire risk, social factors, health, and community resilience across Colorado.
- In Part 2: Stakeholder Insights on Opportunities for the Insurance Industry and State and Local Agencies, CHI elevates insights from experts, stakeholders, and people impacted by wildfire on opportunities for Colorado.
