FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 22, 2021
The Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH) has entered 2021 with new leadership and an expanded agenda that will ensure its continued role as a leader in shaping the region’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic while prioritizing other critically important public health issues.
Several media outlets covered CHI's release of new research on the prevalence of COVID-19 in prisons, jails, and detention centers in Colorado.
More than 16,000 people have contracted COVID-19 as part of outbreaks at Colorado prisons, jails, and other detention facilities, according to an analysis of state and federal data by the Colorado Health Institute (CHI).
As vaccine distribution ramps up throughout the region, the Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH) calls for prioritizing equity at all levels of the distribution process and urges federal and state elected officials to support these efforts.
Jeffrey Moser, a Principal at health care consultancy Sg2, has been elected to the board of trustees of the Colorado Health Institute (CHI). Moser brings more than 20 years of health care advisory and consulting experience with expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, operational effectiveness, and organizational change.
The next four weeks will determine the course of the pandemic this winter in the Denver metro region, according to the Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH).
