Natalie Triedman
Policy Analyst
Natalie Triedman served as a Policy Analyst until 2017. She joined the Colorado Health Institute in 2012 as a Public Interest Fellow. Natalie served as the organization’s expert in aging and long-term services and supports and spends much of her time analyzing the state policy implications of Colorado’s aging population.
Natalie also led the administration, analysis and dissemination of the Colorado Health Access Survey, an important state resource for tracking the impact of health reform and measuring health access in Colorado. She was also one of CHI's GIS mapping experts.
Volunteering with Colorado’s health care safety net and other community organizations is one way that Natalie connects the dots between health policy and practice. For the past two years she volunteered with a free mobile health care clinic for Denver’s homeless as a triage EMT. She currently works as a volunteer with Cooking Matters, a hands-on program that teaches cooking skills, nutrition basics and budget-savvy shopping techniques to low-income families.
Natalie graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in global health. Her self-designed major integrated medical sciences and public health, providing an interdisciplinary perspective on health issues. Natalie worked with peers to craft a global health minor, which is now offered at Colorado College.
