The rate of people in Colorado with health insurance held steady during the pandemic
"We felt like on the whole, the social safety net held during the pandemic, in a year when we could have seen skyrocketing uninsured rates," Jeff Bontrager, Director of Research and Evaluation, told The Colorado Sun when discussing findings from the 2021 Colorado Health Access Survey.
“We saw lots of evidence throughout the survey that people who were enrolled in Medicaid stayed enrolled in Medicaid,” Bontrager said.
