The Joint Budget Committee last week denied a request by the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing to increase the co-payments charged to Medicaid enrollees for services. At the same time, the JBC approved increased co-payments for CHP+ services.
Each year, CHI produces the Colorado Health Report Card in partnership with the Colorado Health Foundation. The 2011 Report Card, released this morning, has a number of interesting findings.
CHI provides annual estimates of the number of Colorado children who are eligible but not enrolled (EBNE) in Medicaid and the Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) programs. Broken down by county, the information helps state and local policymakers understand enrollment patterns. The 2012 update includes data from calendar year 2010.

After spending several years working for a few non-profits with diverse missions (large hospital to an inner-city church) and varied workforce size (thousands to fewer than ten), I decided that what really made me tick was working for small to mid-size organizations with a Colorado-focused mission.
