Tynaje is a CHI intern and a practicum student from the Colorado School of Public Health. She just completed her first year of classes, focusing in Health Systems, Management, and Policy. She has been doing data collection and evaluation work related to behavioral health for a state opioid response grant with the university’s Evaluation Center.
Before coming to Colorado, Tynaje earned a bachelor’s degree public health from the University of Arizona and worked on COVID-19 research, contact tracing, and surveillance through the college’s partnership with the Arizona Department of Health. Her professional interests include behavioral health, researching disparities in underserved and disadvantaged communities, access to care, and finding new ways to improve health and well-being in communities of color.
