This report summarizes the annual estimates of the number and percentage of Coloradans who lacked health insurance in 2010, based on annual estimates from the Current Population Survey (CPS). Nationally, an estimated 49.9 million Americans, or 16.3% of the population, were uninsured in 2010. In Colorado, 656,000, or 13% of the population, were uninsured, a statistically significant decline of 1.9 percentage points when looking at two-year averages.
