Every summer from 2011 to 2024, CHI published Legislation in Review, a guide to the most important health policy bills at the state Capitol.
The report arranged the bills by topic and provided capsule summaries of each bill. This body of work traces Colorado health policy during a period bookended by two major events — the passage of the Affordable Care Act and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Browse these reports to see the history of Medicaid policy, the creation of Connect for Health Colorado, and the extraordinary measures taken to react to the pandemic.
