Rural APNs & PAs in Colorado: Results from CHI’s 2010 – 2011 Workforce Surveys

As part of the 2011 Colorado Rural Health Conference, Jackie Colby spoke to attendees about results from CHI’s advanced practice nurse and physician assistant surveys. Results were examined in the context of the workforce needs of rural areas of Colorado: How are primary care providers distributed in Colorado? What are the capabilities of these providers? What do they say attracts them to rural Colorado and keeps them there?
