The Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH), which is facilitated by the Colorado Health Institute, offers one model for building community trust.
Since 2020, MDPH has been partnering with community-based organizations who have built trust with priority populations to promote vaccinations and positive mental health messaging. These community ambassador programs rely on local expertise to develop culturally relevant interventions with the goal of narrowing health equity gaps across the region.
