More than one in 10 Coloradans struggled to afford their rent or mortgage in the past year.
The high cost of housing creates problems that extend beyond people's pocketbooks. The Colorado Health Access Survey found that unaffordable housing has strong links to poor health outcomes and even to loneliness.
