The Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH) has been honored with the 2021 Gold Innovative Practice Award by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). The award celebrates local public health departments for developing innovative programs to meet the needs of their community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his new role, Nghe will lead a team responsible for CHI’s financial and operational functions with an aim toward building systems to support CHI’s growth as it advances its mission of improving the health of all Coloradans through independent research, analysis, and insight.

“It turned into something that was not classically a public option, but was still a really big, or one of the biggest, ideas that we’ve seen in lowering health care prices,” Hanel said.

The Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH), which represents public health agencies serving the region, is encouraging school districts to continue requiring masks to be worn by all students ages 3 and older and staff in their facilities for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

The Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH) on Friday announced the availability of a new mapping tool that allows users to track vaccination rates in metro Denver communities at the census-tract and ZIP-code levels. The interactive maps will be updated weekly based on data from the Colorado Immunization Information System.
